2017 Priorities for Seattle
- Improve bike parking requirements within new development and new temporary parking requirements for major sporting and entertainment events.
- Improve administrative efficiency and success-rate in pursuing bike thefts with one dedicated officer as a central point of contact to coordinate bike theft investigations among the precincts and the major crimes division of the Seattle Police Department.
- Secure funding in the Seattle city budget to fund public education of voluntary bike indexing systems and coordinate indexing efforts with bike shops, paid event bike rides, and bike swaps.
